Chiropractic Care
The chiropractors at P.R.O. are primary contact health professionals that focus on the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal system (muscles, nerves, bones, and joints) conditions throughout the entire body.
Your first visit with one of our chiropractors will include an initial assessment and treatment. Treatments will typically involve a combination of soft-tissue manual therapy as well as some form of corrective exercise prescription. Some of the common manual techniques employed by our chiropractors include spinal and extremity manipulation, Active Release Techniques, Graston Technique, and functional anatomical acupuncture.
Our chiropractors work extensively with their P.R.O. teammates as well as your current healthcare team to correct movement patterns and restore tissue resilience resulting in optimal and permanent tissue recovery. Together we develop and deliver a treatment plan tailored exclusively to your recovery and treatment goals.
Our Chiropractic Sports Specialist, Dr. Warren Hefford, has undergone an additional five-year Sports Fellowship Residency in combination with a two-year Master’s program to specialize in the diagnosis, management and treatment of athletic injuries. There are only approximately 100 Chiropractic Sports Specialists practicing across Canada.
